Workshops and webinars

A closer look at how the sessions are structured, what each topic covers, and what participation in the programme looks like from the inside.

What happens inside a session

Each 90-minute session follows a consistent rhythm. Knowing the structure in advance reduces uncertainty and allows participants to arrive focused rather than tentative.

0-10 min

Opening round

Each participant briefly says where they are today, not a report, just a quick check-in that brings everyone into the room. Keeps the group from starting cold.

10-25 min

Topic framing

The facilitator introduces the session topic with a short framing. Not a lecture. A set of questions and reference points that orient the group toward what they will be exploring together.

25-70 min

Group discussion

The core of the session. Participants bring their own experience of the topic. The conversation is structured but not scripted. The facilitator keeps it moving and ensures everyone has space to contribute.

70-85 min

Individual takeaways

Each participant names one thing they are taking from the session. Not a commitment or an action plan. A single idea, question, or shift that feels worth holding onto until the next time.

85-90 min

Closing and preview

Brief close. A note on what the next session will cover, so participants can be thinking about it in the two weeks between sessions if they choose to.

The four topic areas in depth

01

Pricing without fear

How do you arrive at a price that reflects the value of your work without immediately discounting it in your own mind? This topic works through the emotional logic of pricing, the fear of client reaction, and the practical question of how to hold a rate in a conversation.

  • Where your current pricing came from
  • What you are actually afraid will happen if you charge more
  • How to respond when a client questions your rate
  • The difference between negotiating and surrendering
02

Time when you are the whole company

When every task belongs to you, time management stops being about scheduling and starts being about understanding your own working patterns. Why do certain things get done and others do not? What does avoidance tell you?

  • Mapping what your time actually goes to versus what you intend
  • Understanding your own patterns of avoidance
  • The difference between urgent and important when you set both
03

Difficult clients

Not every difficult client is the same. Some are demanding, some are vague, some do not pay on time, some question everything you do. This topic looks at how to categorise what you are dealing with and develop a clear approach for each type of situation.

  • How to distinguish a difficult client from a bad fit
  • Language for holding a position without antagonising
  • When to escalate and when to let something go
  • How to end a client relationship when that becomes necessary
04

Emotional uncertainty

The emotional experience of early-stage entrepreneurship is real and often underacknowledged. Doubt, isolation, the sense that everyone else is more certain. This topic creates space to name what the experience has actually been like, without resolving it artificially.

  • What emotional uncertainty looks like in practice
  • How it affects decision-making in specific ways
  • What it means to work with uncertainty rather than waiting for it to pass

How to participate and what to expect

Technical requirements

Sessions are held online via video. You need a stable internet connection, a device with a camera and microphone, and a private space where you can speak freely for 90 minutes. No specialist software is required.

Scheduling

Session dates are agreed with the group at the start of the programme. They happen every two weeks. The specific day and time is set to work for all six participants. If you cannot attend a session, this is acknowledged, but consistent presence is part of what makes the group work.

Confidentiality

What is shared in the group stays in the group. All participants agree to this at the start of the programme, and the agreement is taken seriously throughout. The quality of the conversation depends on this trust being maintained.
